On the left wall of the church, not far from the entrance, we see this grave marker for Adeline Eliza Dana.

Adeline died at the young age of five. Her body was laid to rest in the surrounding area of the Mission which was marsh land. Because of the unstable soil, her casket kept surfacing to the top. During a construction phase, she was laid to rest again, but this time in the wall of the Mission.
